Coliseum Megaplex is located at 410 Saint John’s Church Road. The Coliseum is a 35,000 SF entertainment complex. U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center is located at 950 Soldiers Drive. The Visitor and Education Center is dedicated to educating visitors about the culture and experience of American soldiers. This area features special exhibits, an interpretive gallery, museum store, café, and multipurpose room for events, lectures and workshops. Meadowbrooke Gourds is located at 125 Potato Road. They host many events throughout the year on the farm. They welcome you to visit and learn about their craft, make your own gourds, or just enjoy the grounds. They have a store on site where you will find one-of-a-kind gourds and local goods. Nestled in the middle of a beautiful 200-acre farm at the foot of the Blue Mountains, Meadowbrooke Gourds is the largest gourd manufacturer in the country. The showroom floor changes seasonally. Kings Gap Environmental Education Center is located at 500 Kings Gap Road. The unique attractions are its mountainous terrain, extensive forest, and panoramic views. You can experience this while driving the winding road to the mansion area or by hiking the trails. The sweeping view of the Cumberland Valley from the Cameron-Masland Mansion is impressive at any time of the year. Kings Gap consists of 2,531 acres of forest on South Mountain, with more than 25 miles of hiking trails, a permanent orienteering course, picnicking, hunting, and other recreational and educational opportunities. The mansion provides facilities for meals and overnight lodging and can be reserved for functions. Kings Gap is one of several state parks specifically dedicated to provide environmental education and recreational programs for children, teachers, and the general public to increase knowledge and awareness of the values and function of our natural resources. The Winery at the Long Shot Farm is located at 1925 McClure’s Gap Road. This is a family owned and operated winery. They welcome you to stop by and sample some of their wines with a “Splash in the Glass”. Enjoy a flight of four selections of your choice, have a glass of wine or share a bottle with friends. They offer a small assortment of cheeses and bologna, as well as crackers and chips. Juices, soda, water, a few locally brewed beers are available. Climbnasium Indoor Rock Climbing is located at 339A N. Locust Point Road. This premier indoor rock climbing facility has extensive bouldering areas and toprope climbs to 40 feet in height. Adventure Park is located at 1775 Lambs Gap Road. The park started as an accessible playground that allows all children, regardless of ability, to play side by side. Newville, PA:
Cumberland Drive-In is located at 3290 Ritner Highway. Showing the stars since 1952, this drive-in is one of only 375 theaters in America. It’s an affordable place to take the family for mostly family friendly movies, rating no higher than PG-13. Cumberland Valley Rail Trail is located at 23 McFarland Street. Wildlife viewers of all agents and experiences can hike, bike, walk, or horseback ride on the 13-mile trail that follows the abandoned Cumberland Valley railroad corridor from Shippensburg to Newville. Enjoy interpretative way-point signs on the agricultural and Civil War heritage along the trail. Visitors can enjoy a 2-mile offshoot of the CVRT.
